As far as possible we aim to supply all corners of Great Britain with our produce. Although we do not yet have our own delivery vans, we are really proud to be able to work with experts in the food courier service industry in order to transport our produce directly from our farm to your door.

Order deadlines

We are currently only allowed to process quail on a Monday and Wednesday when we have an FSA vet in attendance. So that we don’t let customers down, we ask that orders are placed by MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY for delivery on Wednesday and MIDNIGHT ON TUESDAY for delivery on Friday.

If orders come in after these deadlines we will do everything we can to try and accommodate them, but this can’t be guaranteed.

To guarantee a weekly supply we recommend setting up a standing order that we can then adjust if necessary.

Unlike typical French quail that are reared under unnatural light conditions, the Norfolk Quail are free-to-fly in a natural environment. This leads to a slightly smaller bird but with a plumper breast, which has a far superior and complex rich taste. We did a blind tasting and the Norfolk Quail won hands down.

Michael Wignall is executive head chef at Gidleigh Park, in Devon, where he moved to from The Latymer at Pennyhill Park Hotel in January 2016.

Michael was previously at The Devonshire Arms Hotel in North Yorkshire where he held a Michelin star and 4 AA rosettes.
